Do-It-Yourself Estimate

Your patio.
Your possibilities.
A clear next step.

Choose motorized or fixed screens, tell us the shape of your openings, and plan your next step. Standard rectangular motorized screens can receive an available planning estimate; other configurations need a personal review.

01 / Build your project

Start with your openings.

First choose motorized or fixed. Then choose the shape: rectangle, arch or triangle. Enter each opening separately. Only standard rectangular motorized screens can be estimated online when pricing is available; nothing here is a final order.

Measure the clear opening.

Use the approximate inside width and height. Try 12.5 feet or 150 inches. You can also enter fractions or feet and inches, such as 12′ 6″.

Motorized screens at an arched patio—a real EX Design Group project, not a fixed-screen example. The right mounting approach depends on the opening. For your arch, send a photo and rough maximum width and height for personal review.
What this planning estimate assumes
  • Online pricing, when available, applies only to rectangular openings with a standard motorized screen configuration.
  • All fixed screens, arches, triangles and unusual conditions need a personal review rather than an automated price.
  • Standard fabric and frame-color selections, subject to confirmation.
  • Suitable mounting surfaces, standard installation access and available power.
  • New wiring, electrical work, structural changes, custom finishes, permits and unusual access are not included.

The site review determines any additional scope and the final written price.

No payment or commitment. No contact details are sent until you request a visit.

From idea to a confirmed plan

Know what happens next.

This page helps you explore a starting budget. A proper site review turns rough measurements into a project we can stand behind.

  1. 1

    We review your request.

Our office checks the project location, rough sizes, photo and what you want to improve.

  2. 2

    We agree on a visit.

A team member confirms availability and any visit fee. Picking a preferred day does not book it automatically.

  3. 3

    You receive a written proposal.

Final measurements, material choices, installation scope, electrical needs, price and terms are confirmed before ordering.

A few useful answers

Before you measure.

Do I need exact measurements?

No. Enter rough inside dimensions, width first and height second. We verify field measurements before ordering. A planning estimate can change when final dimensions or scope change. For an arch or triangle, enter the widest inside width and tallest inside height, and include a photo showing the shape.

Can I plan fixed screens, arches or triangles?

Yes. Product and shape are separate choices: select motorized or fixed, then rectangle, arch or triangle. Every fixed-screen or non-rectangular project needs a personal review. The planner does not substitute a standard motorized-screen price for these configurations.

Is “Do-It-Yourself” a DIY screen kit?

No. It means you can explore your own rough measurements and project details. This page does not sell a kit or place an order. The actual product configuration and installation scope are confirmed in a written proposal.

Does the estimate include electrical work?

No. The planner assumes suitable power is available for motorized screens. New wiring, outlets, electrical work and structural modifications are separate items reviewed on site.

What if my opening cannot be priced online?

We will not guess a number. Request a project review or call us so we can confirm a suitable configuration and prepare individual pricing.

Am I ordering screens or booking a visit here?

No. Your project list is a planning summary. Sending it requests a conversation and a possible visit. No appointment is confirmed and no payment is authorized through this page.

Optional website measurement

May EX Design Group use Google Analytics and Meta ad measurement to understand which ads lead to a received visit request? This is separate from permission to contact you. We do not send your contact details, photo, measurements or estimate amounts in our lead event. The estimator works without optional measurement.

Optional measurement is off until you choose.
