Material guide
More open mesh generally preserves more view and airflow; denser material can provide more shade or privacy. Color, lighting and viewing direction also affect how material reads. Compare samples under the conditions that matter to your patio.
Estimate guide
Stand far enough back to show the full opening, mounting surfaces and nearby obstacles. Add rough width and height within about one foot, note where direct sun enters, and explain whether your priority is insects, shade, privacy or clear protection.
Care guide
Loose debris can affect movement and alignment. Use a soft brush or vacuum and follow product-specific cleaning instructions. Avoid forcing a system that binds and request service when movement becomes uneven.
Product guide
A flexible screen is often preferred for airflow, shade and insects. Clear rigid STAX panels add more separation while preserving the view. The opening, weather exposure and intended use should drive the choice.
